Dance On The Horizon
I'm very pleased to release some images to preview my upcoming co-directed short dance film. It has been made with talented performers from the London School of Contemporary Dance, filmed over the past few months and is a piece looking at the relationship between dancers and painters, painting and dance.
After months of explorative workshops that are leading to a large multi-format installation; the film will show scenes devised by Julie Schmidt, the project creator. It has been a challenging and deeply interesting piece of work, evolving constantly, and I can't wait to show the results. We're aiming for it to find a platform at art venues / events looking for fresh work and I am excited at it's prospects. All artists involved, moving and working in front of the camera have been outstanding.
Internationally selected, screened and award nominated director of dance, fiction and documentary at London Short Film Festival (ICA,) LACMA, Zealous X (Oxo Tower Wharf) and San Diego Comic-Con. As well the cities of Toronto, Cape Town, New Orleans, Dublin, New York and St Petersburg.
