For all ten of you that read this, it has been awhile since I posted a blog and an update on my work... I've been busy working as a 2nd Assistant Director on commercials for Ford, Lamb Soc and Compare The Market over the last few months with companies Good Relations and Gravity Road of which I'll be sharing the finished products soon. I have also been vastly updating my website (which I'm still in the process of) and started writing for Film Juice. On top of that the scoring of Lost In The Nameless City, my documentary observing urban space in London which has hung in limbo for some time since its initial video screening at Filthy Lucre (who also commissioned it) has finally been completed. It now has an original score from David Hëvvitt and is ready for festivals and other opportunities moving into the new year.
Following on from its 2016 selections and award nominations at Kinodot Minimalist Film Festival (Russia) and Near Nazareth Festival (Israel), my London Short Film Festival selected short documentary A Film By Abigail will be in the official selection at Chinh India Kids Film Festival in New Delhi from today.
Initiated in the backdrop of 60th year of India's Independence, CHINH INDIA KIDS FILM FESTIVAL and FORUM is an initiative to celebrate knowledge, ideas and perspectives on culture, development and education in context of children programming.
It's an honour to have a piece of work part of an event with such positive aims and care for children. There are also prospects for screenings at schools and other types of venues following CIKFF for the films they like the most and win their awards. The festival runs in New Delhi from the 7th to the 14th of November.
