"THE MUSIC & FILM FITTED TOGETHER
PERFECTLY PROVIDING A DIFFERENT
EXPERIENCE OF LONDON"
Planet Hugill, A World of Classical Music - Lost In The Nameless City review
The original Lost In The Nameless City film screened at the event of the same name in 2014 with Electric Counterpoint by Steve Reich played live by jazz guitarist Rob Luft at the Bussey Building.
Giving the film an opportunity for life following its initial intended screening, Paul
commissioned a brand new original minimalist score from award-winning composer
David C. Hëvvitt. In its final form, the film was honoured to have its world premiere in
New York at The Artists Forum Festival of The Moving Image and has since been a part of
festivals / screenings in Toronto, Berlin, Istanbul & in Mexico & Italy. Shortly after its
premiere the film won an Experimental Award in Romania.
Imagery from the film has been made available as prints & postcards here on the Filthy Lucre website & at their events. The score for the film is available on iTunes.
